School

School's starting soon!!! That means no more hearing "I have nothing to do". LOL. I have been picking on my daughter for the last few days about it. She is excited and nervous, like every other year. It'll be nice to see her learning again. These days, the kids learn a lot faster than we ever did.

Starbucks

At my previous job, there was a Starbucks not too far from where I worked. I used to go get a french vanilla frappucino. OOOHHHH.....they were sooo good! If you like coffee and haven't tried Starbucks coffee, you have to try it! I haven't had coffee since I found out I was pregnant...even though I always drank decaf anyway because I have a fast heart rate!

Miss My Dog

I miss my dog so....much!!! It has been four days since I had to get her put to sleep. I really thought once I got home it wouldn't be as bad as it has been. It has been really hard. She followed me everywhere and was always next to me and now she's not. I had her for 11 years and it's just awful without her. I have been very sad and have cried a lot!!! It makes it worse that I'm pregnant because my hormones don't help my crying any. Anyway.....I don't want to go through this again!!!

Why can't our pets live forever????

So, tomorrow I have to put my dog to sleep. This is the last thing in the world I want to do. She is now 11 years old and I have had her since she was 9 weeks old. She is like another child to me! It's just wierd because she was fine up until last week. Last week she started limping and I assumed it was her arthritis, so I gave her the coated aspirin that they told me to give her. The next day, she was limping worse and I could feel a big bump around her shoulder blade. So, I took her and he thought it was just an ulcer and infection. They gave her medicine and it got better for a couple of days but then it got worse again. Now....the poor thing can't eat, stand, or do anything. She doesn't even lift her head! It makes me so upset! So, back to the vet we went and he took some more blood and it showed a liver tumor. That's what I get to do tomorrow. I will be a wreck!!!!

Memory Cards

I need a memory card for my digital camera. Really, I probably need a whole new camera but an xd picture card may be what I need for now. My camera doesn't take the best pictures. My whole family has Kodak cameras except me. I think that's the way I'll have to think about going. If anyone has suggestions, let me know!

Harleys

My parents have a Harley Davidson and if my husband and I ever got a motorcycle, it would be a Harley. Of course, we would have to pick one from the used Harleys. A brand new Harley would be nice but we'd only be able to afford a used one. My husband always talks about Hondas. I make it very clear, it'll only be a Harley. LOL

DNA testing

I don't know how many of you watch soap operas but I watch them. I remember watching them when I was little when my mom watched them. The funny part is....those are the same ones I watch now! They always have the same basic story lines. There are two of them I'm watching now about DNA testing. It's kind of funny how they are so much alike. I'll probably continue to watch them anyway.

What do you want for dinner???

I don't know if this happens in your house but in ours, I am constantly saying "what do you want for dinner?". It is an everyday occurence and I get tired of it. LOL. Some day I would just like to cook and be done with it but I am so.... tired of eating the same things over and over!! If I added up how many times I have asked that question, I can't imagine how many it was. I always try to find new recipes but everything's limited. My husband is just picky and my daughter has a milk and peanut allergy. I am always open for suggestions........

The Onion Festival

We went to the Onion Festival. It is kind of like a fair but it's in a very small town and doesn't have a lot there, except food and rides. They obviously have onions too. LOL. They sell onions there and blooming onions. The rides were the same as the fair we went to last weekend. They were $3 a ride!!! I went up to get a bracelet for the rides (which is unlimited rides) and they didn't sell them except in the morning. So......instead it was $17 for 20 tickets and every ride was 3 tickets!!! It is a nice place to go but absolutely ridiculous with how expensive the rides were. The rides were through Midway. If you look up Midway, they are the people that go to all of the fairs. They obviously make the money because tons of kids ride these expensive rides.

TV Mount

I need a bigger tv really bad!!! Right now, I have a plasma tv but it's small. I originally got it for my daughters bedroom. It was just too expensive to buy a tv and I didn't want to buy one that we didn't really want. I would really like to get a big plasma tv and get a plasma tv mount.

Acne

I am 30 years old (29 1/2 my husband says, lol). I didn't think at this age I would still have to worry about acne. When I get stressed, my face just blows up with it! I remember having it all the time in school but I never had it as bad as some people did. I just wish I wouldn't get it anymore!

Fleas on the Dog

I think my dog has fleas! Yuck! Once a year she gets them but she's allergic to them on top of the regular itching. I have to usually give her another medication on top of the flea stuff. I can usually catch them early enough, as long as I go some place where there's dog supplies and get flea stuff. I just wish she wasn't allergic!

Color Ink Cartridge

For Mothers Day, I got a heart locket that says I love you on it. I need to get some pictures in it but my color ink cartridge is gone. They are just so expensive! I swear the way the economy is.....there is so much that is just not worth it anymore. Anyway.....hopefully I'll get one soon so I can actually wear my necklace!

EagleRider

I would really like to get an ATV. There is a site called EagleRider that rents them. They have something called Adventure tours. It sounds really neat. You can rent an ATV and they will give you a guided adventure through private Montana land. I would love to do it! I will have to put that in with my dream vacation I want to take!
