My parents

I know I've posted before about my family being in another state. I am really missing them today. It just hasn't gotten easier. I miss them a lot! I really need to go see them. I have never even seen their house. It is time! After my surgery, I am going to go see them. At least that's the plan!

Vacation Time

For my next vacation, I would really love to go to Martha's Vineyard. I found a website called weneedavacation.com and it has Martha's Vineyard vacation rentals. This site is just awesome! You can create, plan, and save a vacation. You can create your dream vacation! That's what I would like to do. I am going to go on my dream vacation someday. The cool part about it is that you can see the vacation rentals! What I mean, is that you can view a video of some of the vacation rental properties so you can see it ahead of time and decide if that's the property you want to rent. So, go plan your vacation!

A "Virus"

What do you think constitutes a "virus". Sometimes I wonder if that's even a true sickness. I think it's a better way to say that they don't know what's wrong. LOL. My daughter has been sick for a week now. She has had a "virus". Her fever was 103.5!!! I was kind of scared. She's never had a fever that high! Anyway.......she is finally better but holy cow, it feels awful to just hear it's a virus.

Moving Truck

I think the one thing I would do if we do move again, is get a moving truck and just get it done. I have moved so many times. When my ex and I split up, I kind of went from place to place. I would love to move one more time into my affordable "dream house". There is a site called MovingOrbit. It seems to be a great site. It has a one way truck rental. You can get estimates on how big of a truck you would need to rent and how much it would be. I will have to use that site when it is time to actually move.

Moving or not??

So, beyond the real estate problem.......how many of you would move right now if you had the money? I'll be honest, my biggest thing is that I would love to be in a bigger house. Right now, my house isn't bad, it just has small rooms. Remodeling is something I would like to do even if I do move. Think about it.....if our economy wasn't so bad right now, how many of you would move???

Houses for sale

We have been looking for a while for a new home. It'll be a while before we are in a position to purchase a home anyway. My husband is a real estate agent, so he is always looking for something for us. I found a place online called Home Sale Directory Inc. It seems to be for buyers, sellers, or real estate agents. You can search for houses or list houses on there. I am trying to talk my husband into moving out of state. This site has Phoenix homes for sale, which is an area I would consider moving to. If you are looking for a house, this site seems to be a great site to search.

Winning the lottery

I know that everyone had to have seen the old "Roseanne" show when they won the lottery. Wouldn't that just be awesome??? Can you imagine going from having barely anything to getting anything you wanted??? I have a lot of dreams but most of the time, I realize it'll never happen. My husband always says what if we could do..... and wouldn't it be nice if we could..... How many of you dream of that stuff??

Vehicle Air Conditioner

I couldn't live without my air conditioning in the summer time. Especially when it's 95 degrees outside. I used to have a vehicle without it before and it was awful! My husband never uses it but I always do. I found a site called 1airconditioning. It has an AC compressor and many other parts. You should check it out if you need air conditioning parts.

Weight Gain

I think I have gained more weight again. I was doing pretty good but lately I haven't been exercising like I was. I really need to start again. Also, I have started drinking more pop. That is just the worst thing to have for your teeth and your weight! I really don't need any worse teeth anymore than I need more weight. If anyone has any other ideas for me to lose weight, I am definitely open!!!

Houston Rodeo Concerts

The Houston Rodeo concerts are coming up in March of 2009. I am so... excited! I would love to be able to go! After the rodeo events are done, the stage is moved into the middle of the ring, and they have the concerts. In previous years, they have had George Strait, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Brooks and Dunn, and even Motley Crue!!! Motley Crue would be an awesome concert to see! They are the best. I would really love to go and get action seats. They are along both sides of the stage right up next to the performers. The action seats are the first seven rows. They also include complimentary food and beverages. I haven't been to a concert in years and I think it's about time I go again! Do you think that'll get my husband to take me if I say that??? Maybe I can print out some stuff on it and put it all over the house. LOL. The cool part is that the concerts are all different kinds of music. I listen to a lot of different music. I am ok with anything, as long as it's not elevator music! I will have to check out the tickets to concerts at the Houston Rodeo and pick out the bands I would like to see. How about we all print the information out and put it all over the house and then we can all talk about the concerts after??? Sounds good to me!!

Vacation

I need a vacation really bad!! I'm sure you all know how I feel. The same thing everyday......work, clean, make dinner, and tons of laundry!! I feel worn out and very tired. I just wish we could afford to go somewhere. I just want to go somewhere where I don't have to think about money and bills.........and work.......and life.....LOL. You all know what I mean, I'm sure!

Peninsula Orthopedic Associates

With my surgery coming up, it is very important for me to think of tons of questions to ask the doctors. I have been through so much over the years that I can't risk having anything go wrong. I wish I had a good Orthopedic surgeon when I had my knee surgery 15 years ago. My knee is still sore now. Every once in a while, it gets swollen and it just hurts! However, I did find a website that talks about some very qualified CA Orthopedic surgeons. I am not in that area but from what I've been reading, the surgeons sound very good. At the Peninsula Orthopedic Associates, the physicians are all board certified or board eligible. There are six physicians and three physician assistants there. On the website, you can even look at videos of the different surgeries they perform. That is very neat! I really like that option. You don't see many websites that have videos of that stuff. I wish I had seen videos before I had my surgery. Of course, years ago, I probably wouldn't have wanted to see them. Anyway, you should really check out the website, especially if you are in need of a surgeon!

Home parties

How do you tell a co-worker that you don't want to go to her candle party??? I'll be honest, I really want to go but I just don't have the money. She invited all of us co-workers. It is this week and I just don't know what to tell her. If I tell her I just can't make it, she'll want me to still buy something. I just can't even afford gas right now! It is awful!!!

Hair Piece Toupee

My hair is very long and thick and I can't imagine not having it. I complain about it now but the other day, my boss said to me, "don't complain, most people would love to have your hair". Wireless Router

I am so frustrated....I can't get my wireless router to work. We used it before and then we switched to dsl and stopped needing it. Now, we have switched back and I can't get it hooked up for nothing! So, I called tech. support and they couldn't even help me. They were frustrating me because everything I told them I did, they kept telling me to do again. I called twice and still do not have it working!

Organic India

I found a website called "Organic India". I have looked into taking herbal supplements for a long time. I understand organic tea is supposed to be good for you and your health. This site seems to be pretty user friendly. It has some free articles you can read up on. You can shop online to buy herbal supplements and for organic teas. I used to work with someone who bought all organic and herbal products. She swore by them and I've always thought about trying them. You should check out the site and update me if you try these products!

Time and Money

There is not enough time or money in a day. I am so tired of the prices of everything rising but pay not rising. There is not enough time in a day to get everything done that I need to get done on top of no money. Did you know the cheap instant coffee is now $10.00 a jar??? That is nuts! My pay isn't rising though, so we go and buy once and hope it'll last a month! I get up in the morning thinking about this and go to bed thinking about it. I just can't afford this and I have just been a wreck about it. I bet I have cried about this stuff at least 5 out of 7 days and the other 2 I was just too busy. I could go on about all of this forever because I don't understand how they think people can live this way!!!

Joseph Baniak

I like to read about people online. I have a lot of respect for military men and women who have fought for our country. This man, Joseph Baniak, served in the United States Air Force. He served tours in the Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, and Iraq. He was in the military for 14 years. This guy is someone I have respect and honor for. You'll have to go online and read up on him!

The ongoing flu

So, I think my daughter has the flu now. She is just at the beginning of it, so I'm hoping it won't be as bad as when I had it. She was up all night with a stomach ache. She didn't have a fever but when I give her tylenol, she was feeling better. This morning though, she was shaking like crazy because she was so... cold. It feels like she has a mild fever. Anyway.....I am trying some flu reduce pills to see if it will work but we'll see!

Adding a new bathroom

We are adding a new bathroom in our house. It's going to be a half bath......at least to start. We are considering putting a shower in there but right now, it will just be a half bath. We have gotten everything except for the faucet for the bathroom sink. We have looked at tons of them and I just want to find the right one. Delta faucets seem to be very nice.

Anoretix

I have just gained so much weight, it is unbelieveable. I have tried a little bit of everything but I would like to try Anoretix. It is a pill that is a fat burner. It sounds like it is supposed to be good for you. It says it maintains blood sugar levels and lean muscles. I have to try something to lose weight. The question is, does anoretix work???

Rides at the Fairgrounds

We went to the fair today and my daughter had a blast on the rides! They were extremely expensive. It was ridiculous. They were $3.00 for each ride!!! You could buy a bracelet that let you ride unlimited times and rides for $15.00, which of course is what we did. She had a lot of fun and so did we.

The Vacation Home Industry

One thing I would love to have is a vacation home. Some day, we will have one. Probably when we are old and retired. That seems to be the best time when people buy vacation homes. There are not many vacation homes for sale in my area. My parents used to have a vacation home and they really liked it. It was definitely nice. I used to love it also. Anytime you go on vacation, it's like a whole new world. You don't have any worries, except maybe what you're going to do for the day or which drink you want to relax. LOL

Hysterectomy

So, on September 25th, I am having a hysterectomy done. Who knew at 30 years old I would have to have a hysterectomy. I am very, very nervous about it. I am somewhat looking forward to it, since I have had 5 previous surgeries for Endometriosis. I have had severe endometriosis since 2000 and have had many surgeries that help only temporarily and then it comes back full force. We really wanted to have another child but I am very grateful to be able to have the one I do have. She is my baby! Anyway, I am scared to death about it and hopefully all will go well and everything will be o.k. after. I have had tons of pain, so hopefully this will take all of that away. Wish me luck!

Goldworks International UK Ltd

There is a website online called "Goldworks International UK Ltd." and it is through the UK. It sells used equipment. It has excavators, backhoes, farming equipment, tractors, and even a used caterpillar. It seems to be an easy to use website. You can't find used equipment like that online very often. I would think farmers would love this site! This site is for residential and business customers but either way, I'm sure that farmers would really enjoy this site. They also have an affiliate program. They have a bronze, silver, and gold affiliate program. We should all go in and do some more research on it!

Old Fashioned Days

On Sunday, we went to a function. I think it was called Old Fashioned Days. It was pretty cool. There were people dressed up like in the old days. They were wearing the old fashioned dresses and the kids were just adorable! Everything was a penny!!! There was tons of food and homemade stuff. There was homemade butter, soap, jelly and jams, pies, and tons of other stuff. The cool part was that for all three of us, it was less than $1.00 for everything we got!!! We also got to go on a horse and carriage ride. It was all just awesome. I wish they sold stuff for a penny more often.

Swing Sets

I don't know about anyone else with kids but mine couldn't live without her swing set. I think swing sets are a wonderful outside toy for children. Overall, they are reasonably priced. There are so many different kinds of them. I had a hard time choosing which one to get my daughter. She has had hers for about three years now and this is the first year she has played with it the most. It was probably one of our best investments. So, if you don't have a swing set for your children, purchase one, it's worth it!

Generators

One of my next big purchases is going to be a generator. We have been so lucky to not lose power for a long period of time (knock on wood). I always worry about big snow storms and losing our power. There are so many different kinds of generators. I want to be sure we choose the right one. One that is big enough and will hold all of our power, just incase we were to lose it for a long period of time. I will do lots of research to find the right one and I would suggest that for anyone else that is going to purchase one.

The time I have spent on the computer

If I could add up the hours for the time I spend on the computer, I can't imagine how many that would be. I really like the computer and I am pretty proficient with it. There are some days where I can spend hours and hours on it and other days where it's a quick on and off. Most of the days I'm on and off are days that I spend with my family. Sometimes even those can be days of hours being on here but I really do like it. How many hours do you think you spend on the computer???

Police Gear

Police gear is something I feel our police departments should never skimp on. We need to be sure our police are not only protecting us but are protecting themselves also. Plus, I feel it should be something with good quality. If it's not good quality, we can't be sure anybody will be safe. Blackhawk holsters are supposed to be very good quality. There is a website where we can look at the products the police need to have. The website has a live help button, so you can chat with a customer service representative. They also have tons of pictures of the products. Everyone should check it out!

Sinuses

I have had sinus problems for a few years now but every year they get a little worse. So, a few months ago, I started getting allergy shots. They work really good but lately I have had wicked post-nasal drip. I can only take so much of it! I am so....tired of having all of these sinus problems. It just gets worse and worse. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to anything!!!

Finding a used car loan

Finding used car loans is very hard, especially if you have bad credit. Bad credit car loans are the hardest thing to find. I have found lots of places online that say they'll give you a loan but most of them turn you down in the end. I did find a place online that will give you online car loans. You can apply online and it sounds pretty simple. You can even get a refinance loan. Unfortunately, I have had a lot of experience with trying to find a bad credit auto loan. So, for me, the easier the better.

Hunting

It's almost time for hunting season to come around. That means my husband will never be home and we'll eat dinner late again. He gets so excited about hunting. It's kind of funny, he's like a kid in a candy store when it comes to going into a store with hunting gear in it. He has got a lot of hunting stuff but every year that's mostly what I buy him for Christmas is more hunting stuff. The good part is, I never run out of stuff to get him! Especially since they come out with new stuff all the time. I can't wait, lol.

My parents bought an RV last year and I would love to go buy one. We just can't afford it right now. When we were little, we used to have a small pop-up camper but I absolutely loved camping. An RV is something that's on our wish list and hopefully in a year or two, we will get one. My parents had to buy some extra RV parts and accessories, so one of the places they found online is called Tweety's. It has a little bit of everything. They also have a 30-day money back guarantee, which is cool. Not very many people offer that!

Tiny Little Ants

I have got these tiny little ants in my house. I have cleaned and bleached everything I can and they are still there. So, I bought some ant traps today and we'll see but I don't understand why we still have them. We have a few really big ones but most of them are just tiny ants. It really grosses me out because it makes me feel like we are living in a crappy house and we're not. Hopefully the traps will work!

Going on a Diet

I have just tried everything to lose weight. I have tried to exercise and to not eat or eat better. I really need to lose weight. Not because I'm fat, because I'm really not. I just gained weight and have never been this big. I am not overweight at all, I just don't like the way I look. I thought about trying diet pills. A lot of them have caffeine in them so I have to be careful because I do have sinus tacchycardia (fast heart rate). Anyway, I'll have to check out the caffeine-free pills.

Outer Banks Vacation Rentals

When I was little, we went to North Carolina and rented a house with our family. I remember it well because it was a gorgeous place. I remember the loft the most. Of course, when you're little you remember that kind of stuff! They have Outer Banks vacation rentals that I would love to rent. A vacation is something that I feel like I deserve right now. I will have to go to the site and print out a brochure and leave it on my husbands pillow. LOL

New watch

I bought a watch about two years ago. It is just a plain, simple watch. I had a nice gold watch but I wanted a plain one so that I wouldn't care as much if it broke. Now, the band is broken and the watch stops working every once in a while. So, I guess it's time for a new one. I would like a nice watch but not one that is too expensive. I have found festina watches. There is a purple one!!! That is my favorite color! Anyway, it looks like a nice watch, so I will have to hint around to my husband that I want it. LOL

Tweezing Eyebrows

About a year ago, I started getting my eyebrows waxed. It makes me look so much better when I get them done. Then about a month ago, I got them done again and it HURT!!! I had waited too long and when she did it, it was like a whole eyebrow on the paper they use. So, now I've decided to start using the tweezers to tweeze my eyebrows. That way it doesn't hurt as bad when she goes to do them. I found some rubis tweezers that look like they'd work great. Wish me luck with using them!!!

Shipping Items

It can be really hard to ship weird shaped items. I used to sell on ebay all the time but when it came to shipping it out, I was at a loss trying to find the right box. Did you know they make custom boxes? They are cool because you can package anything and everything with the right box. Of course, when I did sell stuff on ebay, I had never heard of them......but now I am finding them. Whoever made them, congrats to you because people that do a lot of shipping probably love these boxes!

TV Shopping

I have been shopping for televisions. I have been all over. The price of them went up quite a bit. I was pretty shocked when I saw some of the prices. I don't want anything huge because our living room is small. I have a very small television in there now temporarily. It is flat screen though and I'm not sure if I like it. Maybe I'm old fashion when it comes to televisions, lol. I found one at the store and I turned the closed captioning on and couldn't get it back off!!! I am only 30, it's not like I'm old but I like the older style, bigger televisions. I guess I'm going to have to keep looking!

Face Cream

I have always had acne but not too bad. I have tried quite a few products. I had a facial done one time and the lady told me that the face wash I was using was tearing my face apart. If you felt my face, you could feel bumps all over it. It wasn't normal and I guess I knew it wasn't but I just assumed it was because of my acne. She said that I had to switch to using something for sensitive skin. So, next time you go to buy acne cream, pay attention to the ingredients. If you have sensitive skin on other body parts, you should use something sensitive or just plain stuff. Something not so harsh is always better.

Jewelry

I used to have so much jewelry. I still have quite a bit now but I barely wear it. I work in a dentist office, so I can't wear jewelry there. My daughter loves to wear jewelry but I always buy her cheaper stuff because I'm afraid she's going to lose it. I used to wear tons and tons of jewelry. I have a gold chain that I would like to buy a charm for to give to my daughter. How much jewelry do you wear???

Other peoples teeth

Have you ever noticed how bad some people's teeth look? I know that sounds like a wierd question but now that I work in a dentist office, I notice them all the time. Isn't that funny??? I don't know, I think if someone paid $35 for a cleaning once a year, their teeth would look so much better and in the long run, they would pay less money. Think about it, if they wait until they have a bad tooth, they are either going to lose it or have to get a filling, root canal, or a crown. Then, they're paying crazy money. What do you think???

Halloween Costumes

I love Halloween! It is one of my favorite holidays. My daughter used to be so scared and now she has a blast with it. The halloween costumes that some people have are just so cool. My favorite are the cute little toddlers. Nobody can tell me that cute little bumblebee costume is ugly! It is so funny if you think about it. People walk around trying to kill these bees so they don't get stung. Now, these cute little toddlers look adorable in a bumblebee costume. My daughter was a bumblebee for two years in a row. She was adorable!!!! I love the toddler costumes because they are so warm and fuzzy. They are comfortable and you don't have to worry about them being warm enough. Halloween used to be about scary stuff but now they have cute costumes too. I used to watch a little boy that was 3 who was scared to death of masks and scary costumes. Last year, my daughter was a scary witch and she loved it! It was the first year she was scary. The black widow costume is what I like! It's scary and spooky!!! I don't want to scare all of the kids but that's what Halloween is all about. I think the black widow costume is what I'd like to wear this year! This site I found is awesome. It has every costume you can think of. It also has masks and makeup. Lots and lots of stuff for Halloween!! Also, I have a secret......there is a discount you can get. I will tell you how to get it but you have to go to the site and buy something to get it. Postal Workers

I always feel so bad for postal workers. For them to walk through the weather, I really feel for them. Especially in our snow storms!! I looked into doing it a few times until I thought about the weather. You've got snow, rain, or just really, really hot!!! Anyway, if you are a postal worker, I thank you and appreciate you because I could never do it!

Custom Tours of New York City

One thing I would like to do some day is go on a custom tour of New York City. Custom Tours of New York City has private New York tours. They are for your family and are with a New York tourist guide. It sounds like so much fun. You can choose all of the places you want to go to and they take you and your family only. You don't have to wait for other people and don't have to see something you don't want to see. They have evening tours, shopping tours, layover tours, and weekday/weekend tours. It really sounds neat. My Dad used to be a truck driver and when I was little, I went with him through New York City and got to see the statue of liberty. Back then, it was cool but I just thought it was cool to be in a big truck!!! LOL It really sounds like a blast. You should check it out and sign up for a tour, I would love to!!!

Tired & frustrated

I had an appointment today. I had to wait 4 hours!!! Can you imagine??? So, now I'm tired and haven't gotten much done because I was gone so long. Of course, I don't have any energy either, lol. Do you ever feel like screaming??? Today is one of those days for me. I don't know if it would help but I should try! LOL

Optical 4 Less

I found another place to get eyeglasses. It is so hard to find good glasses and for what's included in glasses, some of the prices are just crazy!!! So....I found a place called Optical 4 Less. They have glasses as low as $15 a pair. That is extremely cheap!! It is not very often you find a deal like that. A complete pair of glasses comes with frames, lenses with anti-reflective coatings, UV coatings, stylish case, and a microfibre cleaning cloth. That is a lot of stuff to go along with glasses. They have tons of different types of glasses. They have rimless glasses and titanium glasses. Titanium glasses are very nice. I have looked at all different kind of glasses. I, myself could never wear the rimless or the semi-rimless glasses because it doesn't fit with my face. Not only that but I'd be afraid of breaking them. I am very hard on my glasses. I have looked at so many glasses and the glasses I really like are the new glasses with rhinestones on the frames. I work with a few people that have glasses with rhinestones and I really like them but when I showed my husband, he said I'd look like an old lady!!! If they look good, I'm getting them. Forget about what he says. LOL. If I like them and they look good, that's what matters. For people that don't have insurance, this is the place to go. The $15 is nothing compared to $250. The one product I really like is the clip-on sunglasses. I have never had prescription sunglasses and would love to have them. These just go right over the top of your prescription eyeglasses. The other option is the clip-in sport sunglasses. They are the opposite of the clip-ons. They are sport sunglasses and have clip-on prescription lenses. Those I have never heard of and they are pretty cool. Anyway......I am just rambling on about what I like. You'll have to check it out and see what you like!

Television

How many hours do you think you watch tv everyday? Sometimes, I wonder. I think if I knew, I'd be embarassed. Especially on my days off!!! I have certain shows I watch and when I think about it.......it's a lot of shows! I keep myself moving most of the time. On rainy days, it's almost like my body goes along with it. It just doesn't want to do anything! LOL So, think about how many hours a day you watch t.v., it would probably shock you.

Blind Central Online

There is a place online with custom blinds. It is called "Blind Central Online". They have some very nice discounted blinds in all colors and styles. I need blinds for my house so..... bad!!! I have the old horizontal pull-down blinds. Which, are ok, but definitely not up-to-date. They also have wooden blinds. They are different, but kind of cute. Their prices are wonderful. They are discounted and cheap. I don't know if you've been shopping lately for blinds but I certainly have and they are just not cheap! I wouldn't even mind spending the money (that is, if I had it), as long as they were worth it. From what I've seen on this website, they are very nice. They have tons of colors, styles, and tons of choices. So, if you need blinds, check them out!

Soap Operas

When I was little, my mom used to watch soap operas everyday. Now, I tape soap operas and watch them when I get home at night. It's funny because over half of the actors are the same from when I was little. LOL. Anyway.....I have a big addiction to watching them and couldn't give it up!!! I guess that's why they're called soap oepras!

It is time for me to get new glasses. I have found a great website that has glasses very cheap! Also, they have prescription sunglasses. I have always wanted prescription sunglasses but have never gotten them because of the cost. However, at zennioptical.com, the prices are so low because they manufacture them themselves, there is no middleman!!!

"ScentSational Journeys"

On the 4th of July a small town near me has a big parade. Along with that, they have a bunch of craft tables set up and games for the kids. One of the tables that was set up was for something called "ScentSational Journeys". It is for handcrafted bath and body products. It was pretty neat. They had a bunch of different plastic containers, all sizes and shaped differently. Inside them, you could fill all different colored bath products. Then, you can put it in the bathtub and it changes the water different colors and has a scent. My daughter made one and it is really neat. So, I took a card and I'm considering having a party. It isn't anything that's on the internet but they do parties and I LOVE bath stuff!!!

Paintball

These days the big thing for kids to play with is paintball guns. When they are used properly, they could be a lot of fun. As long as you have the right paintball gear, it is something that could be fun for a family with older children. There is an online paintball store. It sells paintball guns and gear. BT Paintball guns are very inexpensive at this store and the shipping is free. Their top selling guns are Tippmann A-5, Tippmann 98 Custom, Smart Parts Ion, and Spyder Pilot ACS. The name of the company is Ultimate Paintball and it has everything you would be looking for if you are interested in paintball.

Lately, I have just been starving!!! I am eating everything and nothing sounds good. Have you ever had one of those days? Nothing sounds good but I'm trying it all, LOL. I could eat fruit all day long. My stomach wouldn't like it but I could eat all kinds of fruit.......and chocolate. LOL

One of the things I have always thought was an absolute necessity is a retirement plan. Just ask yourself what you would do if you could build a retirement plan by your dreams, plans, and desires??? I don't know, I think it would be great to have a tailored retirement plan according to my needs. Northern Trust is great for personal financial services. I wish I knew more about assets and planning financial needs. It is crazy, I feel like everyone should know it but I still don't! I found the Northern Trust site and I think it's been great for answers. If you have questions, I think that site's the way to go.
